SaunaBar is at 140 Commercial Road, Bournemouth, BH2 5LU — in The Triangle, Bournemouth’s LGBTQ+ quarter. Bournemouth station is about ten minutes’ walk away, and West Hill Road car park is directly behind the venue.

Bournemouth station is on Holdenhurst Road, roughly a ten-minute walk south-west. From the main exit, head down Holdenhurst Road towards the town centre, then turn right onto Commercial Road. The venue is at number 140 in The Triangle.

Bournemouth is served by South Western Railway (London Waterloo, fastest around 1 hour 44 minutes; Southampton ~26 mins; Poole, Dorchester, Weymouth) and CrossCountry (Birmingham, Reading, Oxford, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh).

Bournemouth Triangle [C] is the nearest bus stop, served by Morebus routes including the 32 and 36. Additional stops on Commercial Road are a short walk. The nearest car park is West Hill Road, directly behind the venue — from there you can enter SaunaBar via the side entrance on Mannington Place or the main entrance on Commercial Road. Avenue Road multi-storey is also close by. Bournemouth is accessible via the A338 from the north (connecting to the A31, M27, and M3) and the A35 from the west. For sat-nav, use BH2 5LU. Your First Visit

No membership or pre-registration is needed — just turn up and pay at the door. You’ll receive a clean towel and access to all daytime facilities for the remainder of the session. The bar and lounge area make a good starting point if you want to settle in before exploring further.

If it’s your first time on a Naked Wednesday, towels and clothing can’t be worn — you’ll receive a small comfort towel instead. If you’d prefer a standard towel day for your first visit, any other day of the week works. For evening events like Spectrum or XPLORE, check the relevant event pages for dress codes and entry details — these operate separately from the daytime session.

SaunaBar is a gay sauna and social venue at 140 Commercial Road in The Triangle, Bournemouth’s LGBTQ+ quarter. Open seven days a week from midday to 8pm, it has a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, private rest areas, on-site massage from qualified masseurs, and a fully licensed bar serving food, alcoholic and soft drinks. On selected Fridays and Saturdays the venue stays open into the evening for themed events — including Spectrum (a monthly trans night), Gear’d (fetish), Naked Mates, and XPLORE (an all-inclusive night open to all genders, orientations, and backgrounds). Towels are included with entry and free Wi-Fi is available.
